New York Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul was absent during the team’s voluntary offseason workout program last month. Although some people implied that he wasn’t present because he was unhappy with the franchise tag the Giants place on him, that’s not the case. Pierre-Paul was not insured if he were to suffer an injury while working out with the team since he has not officially signed his franchise tender. When the Giants open up their mandatory minicamp in a few weeks, head coach Tom Coughlin expects to see Pierre-Paul.
Until then, Pierre-Paul will continue training down in Florida, the state where he played his college football. Just because he’s not with the team at the Giants’ facility doesn’t mean he’s not working hard. Check out Pierre-Paul’s training videos that he posted to Instagram. These videos will make you never question his work ethic again.
