Jason Pierre-Paul quietly had an amazing 12.5 sack season in 2014. Pierre-Paul was expected to be an all time great when he had 16.5 sacks in 2011. In just his second season in the NFL, Pierre-Paul was an unstoppable force. Pierre-Paul was a big part of the Super Bowl win that season, as the Patriots struggled mightily to block him. Pierre-Paul hasn’t quite lived up to the incredibly high expectations that come with such a dominant season and he has now become the forgotten superstar.
2014 was very much a comeback season for Pierre-Paul. He had 12.5 sacks and seemed to find his stride in the second half of the season. He had four games with two or more sacks. It seemed like the Pierre-Paul that the Giants organization fell in love with, was back.
